At this time of the year Milan and Paris start to buzz. And they will until the “big” Fashionweek – the one for women – is finished around the end of February. So the Men’s Fashionweek almost feels like the pre game before a big party although of course the women’s collections will forever have my heart. Since the start in 2012 Men’s Fashionweek has become more and more visible and 2024 was a real show (off) for sure. With Sabato De Sano’s first show for Gucci and Pharrell’s continuing contribution for Louis Vuitton there were some real highlights. So let’s take a look – and in the vibe – because Fashionweek season has begun.

Men’s Fashionweek Fall Winter 2024

January 12th till 16th Milan invited to presentations with quite the lineup. Gucci, Tod’s, Prada, Giorgio Armani, and the Ralph Lauren Purple Label to just name a few. Paris Fashionweek has taken place from January 16th till 21st and it was not coming short with shows from Givenchy, Loewe and of course the highlight from Louis Vuitton. To summarize I focused on the main shows and its highlight looks. If the shows were streamed or the brands released a film about the collection I included the videos.

Generally I was pleased with a focus on more preppy and very adult looks. The times of sweat pants and street style might have gotten to an end, although sneakers will for sure last forever. There were plenty of natural tones, soft color details and sleek cuts on the runways. The designers played with patterns in details and layered looks. So overall next season gives us a new approach to casual chic in the men’s department with a certain mature coolness.
