While we enjoy time with the family or some well deserved me-time, we pick up the habit of nesting. It’s a time for leftover food, sleeping in, and our all time favorite movies. We are having our very own pajama party pretty much. Let’s do it in style and find the perfect looks for the cozy time at home.
When the festive season gives us that little break between Christmas and New Years, the world naturally slows down. And so do we. I am aware that we still have a few days to go, plenty of meals to eat, gifts to exchange, and parties to attend. But besides being the cherry on top for a cozy time at home, pajamas also make amazing gifts. So, let’s kill two bird with one stone and see what the pajama party section has to offer and how to make the most out of it. You might wonder about the styling aspect of pajamas? No worries, there are cashmere socks, slippers, bathrobes, and cover ups to play with. There won’t be reasons left to not be stylish while cozy and feel our best while enjoying a little me- or family time.
Classic pajama party looks
Tartan and winter pajamas go hand in hand. Not only are they super comfortable, they also look preppy and cute on any gender, age, or figure. Combine the original Polo Ralph Lauren pajamas with a scrunchie and cozy slippers. Add Arch4 socks and an Arket cashmere knit for extra coziness. For soft lips during the colder season, use a Burt’s Bees lip balm.

Elegant pajama party looks
For a more elegant approach, use a silk material. Silk can keep you warm or cool, it depends on how you layer it. For this a cozy combination, style it with fluffy slippers, and a pearl hair clip from Sophie Buhai. Channel your inner Carrie Bradshaw by adding a long – non restricting – pearl necklace by Missoma and get cozy with an Arket cashmere cardigan.

Casual pajama party looks
Keep things super casual with this layer back coziness. Start with a base of black leggings, a wool long sleeve, and a grey zip up hoodie. Add sterling Boston slippers from Birkenstock and Ralph Lauren socks to make it wintery. The Skims Fits everyone bra will give you some support and coverage while feeling super comfortable.

Playful pajama party looks
Harry Styles would be jealous at this pajama. Pair the glamorous piece with a Ralph Lauren velvet robe and slippers. If you want to keep your festive hairstyle one more day, the Slip silk turban is for you. Stay cozy and extra with pink socks by Calzedonia and Versace slippers. Give yourself a little treat with a sheet mask, this one’s from 111skin.

Weekly inspiration
In perfect order with this week’s blog post, this week’s inspiration are books. A few years back I started reading again on a regular basis. Before that, I was a little frustrated with reading, having read so many things during school and then university I wouldn’t have chosen to read by my own wanting. So it took me a little to get back into the habit. Now, I am always reading something. Not too crazy, maybe between 100-200 pages per week, but it does set my mind at ease, especially before I go to bed at night. I started reading at least 10 pages on work days before I go to bed. My sleep has gotten much better and I feel like that time is much better spent then scrolling through my phone or watching something that I am not really paying attention to anyways.
In that spirit, I recommend Xenia Adonts’ YouTube video about her 7 books in 7 days challenge. She is know to be one of the most successful fashion influencers for over a decade and the ones who follow her on Social Media will know, she also loves reading. Maybe the challenge inspires you, maybe one of the books sounds like a great read you. However, this book and challenge presentation overall is truly inspiring.
