About Paris Fashionweek

Paris is the oldest and most established of all Fashionweeks. While other cities have experienced their ups and downs over the years, Paris has remained stable and therefore sustainable. With a long list of the most traditional luxury fashion houses and its pioneer character, Paris Fashionweek is the ultimate influence on how fashion develops. The runways are traditionally artistic stages for visionary fashion masterpieces. The models rush through the city on scooters to make it from one show to the next, and the show attendees are A-list celebrities as well as household industry names.

About Paris Fashionweek Spring Summer 2025

As expected of Paris Fashionweek, this season came with quite the highlights. After just re-launching and re-naming the brand, Rabannne – formerly Paco Rabanne – a year ago, the brand joined the list of other luxury houses with beauty and make-up lines. Over the past years, Valentino, Prada releases their lines for beauty and make-up, following Chanel, Dior, and Tom Ford which have all launched profitable, popular, high-quality beauty and make-up lines. The launch was celebrated with a high celebrity and content creator attendance.

And that wasn’t the only highlight, of course: 1. Heidi Klum, who as of her own words barely walked Parisian catwalks in the past, walked for Vêtements. 2. Rick Owens showed his collection in a dark, theatrical mood which reminded a little bit of the Dune movies. 3. Alessandro Michele made his debut as Creative Director at Valentino after leaving Gucci in 2022. 4. Saint Laurent brought back the founder’s original spirit in an homage collection. 5. Ganni and Magda Butrym joining the list of luxury brands showing in Paris. So overall, attendees left Paris Fashionweek with fresh fashion inspiration, a little nostalgia, and some business news.
